Ultra Events started out as a local fundraiser in Derby in 2009, raising money for various charities. In 2013, they started to support Cancer Research UK and have since raised almost £10 Million to help fund research into over 200 different types of cancer.

Ultra Events is made up of several different types of fundraising events including Ultra White Collar Boxing (UWCB), Ultra MMA and Ultra Ballroom. These events all provide an 8 week training camp for complete beginners where participants receive the opportunity to learn a new skill, get in great shape and raise money for charity. Participants train with local boxing, dance or MMA coaches and at the end of the 8 weeks they take part in a glamorous black tie event in front of their friends and family. As well as raising money to help beat cancer sooner, following the training participants have achieved an extremely high level of physical fitness and learnt the techniques needed for their event. Most people leave an Ultra Event feeling great and in the fittest condition of their life.

Ultra Adventures is the newest addition to Ultra Events and offers participants the chance to have the experience of a lifetime whilst raising money for Cancer Research UK. Offering trips to Mount Kilimanjaro or Machu Picchu, Ultra Adventures is the next step for people who want to take on the ultimate challenge to raise money for charity.

Ultra Events have set their sights on reaching a huge £17 Million for Cancer Research UK at the end of 2018.
